IV. Course Description:
A study of the life, works and writings of Dr. Jose Rizal, the national hero and the martyr. This course underscores the trials and failures of Dr. Jose Rizal. It traces
the heroes’ concept of education, good government and nationalism as embodied in his writings and its implications to our lives.

Finally, this course unveils some untold stories about our hero.

V. Course Objectives:

A. General Objective: By the end of the semester, students are expected to be able to discuss and know all about the life ,works, sacrifices, sufferings, pains and
triumphs of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

B. Specific Objectives:

Cognitive:

1. Learn the essence of Jose Rizal’s works.


2. Know and understand what and who Rizal was in different views of life.
3. Acquire knowledge on how to be a man of work and a man of action
