Study the following sentences. Each item has two sentences, one is with the correct
use of the verb forms (words that follow the verb) while the other one has an
incorrect verb forms. Choose the correct answer

Ask the students about the places they have gone through.
What are famous in those places?
2. Presentation
Challenge the students to visualize the scenery or the place by creating a
travelogue.

Explain and give/show to the students examples of travelogue.

1. Introduction
Activity: PLEASE PASS THE FOOD!
a. Ask the students to list down the questions regarding the rules or ways that
everyone follows in their household during mealtime.
b. Tell them to answer questions they formulated.
c. Ask them to go around the class and survey 5 classmates with the five
questions.
d. Tell them to require the students they surveyed to sign after giving their
responses.

2. Discussion
Process the learners’ answers.

3. Students’ Activity
PAIR WORK: Take turns in reading and listening to the text. Assign who is partner A
and who is partner B.
a. Partner A reads first while Partner B listens.
b. After listening, write down as many familiar words as you can.
c. Do not write down any word if ever there is nothing familiar to you.

A. Let the students express and share their ease and difficulty in relating with the text
listened to.
