Workshop and Formation Seminar on Lent and Easter Season

February 23-24, 2019, Capuchin Retreat Center, Brgy. San Sebastian, Lipa City

Objectives:
The course aims to:

1. strengthen their understanding of the Music in/of the Liturgy,

2. be aware of the importance of music in Lent and Easter season,
3. develop and enhance their musical skills,
4. review the liturgical guidelines on the above-mentioned seasons and also to introduce new songs that can be used in the mass,
5. foster unity and camaraderie among those involved in the Music Ministry; and,
6. Enlighten each choir member of the important role they perform in the Celebration of the Holy Mass.

Participants: (5 – 6 from your Diocese) preferably:

choir trainer or director, choir member who can disseminate information
accompanist (organist or guitarist), music coordinator

Date: February 23-24, 2019 Time: 7:30 AM – 8:30 Registration (February 23) until 12noon of February 24
Venue: Capuchin Retreat House, Brgy. San Sebastian, Lipa City, Batangas
* Registration Fee: P1,750.00/representative which will cover expenses for the accommodation, use of hall, food, honoraria for
teachers/speaker and handouts. This will be paid on or before the said dates.
