Problem # 1:
Sketch each of the following signals.
(a) x[n] = u[n] + 3u[n - 3]
(b) x[n] = u[n] - u[n - 5]
(c) x(t) = u(t + 3) - u(t - 3)
(d) x(t) = 6u(t + 2)

Problem # 2:
Express the signals x(t) shown in Fig. in terms of unit step functions.

Problem # 3:
For x(t) indicated in Figure sketch the following:
(a) x(-t)
(b) x(t + 2)
(c) x(2t + 2)
(d) x(1 - 3t)
(e) x(1 - t)[u(t + 1) - u(t - 2)]
(f) x(1 - t)[u(t + 1) - u(2 - 3t)]

(a). Let x(t) = cos(ꞷ x(t + τx ) + θx).
Determine the frequency in hertz and the period of x(t) for each of the following three cases:
