In this moment something that I strive to ensure within my future classroom is that my students feel comfortable as well as loved and valued.
Comfortable with whom they are and what they have to say. Loved, as well as respected, by the educators in the room as well as their classmates.
Valued in everything that they do, every opinion they have, and every choice they make. With comfort, love, and value comes individuality,
confidence, expression of self, and diversity. I believe that children are capable and imaginative beings. Each individual has a different way of
learning and brings something special into the classroom. All of these are important components in creating a community within the classroom.
A community that is there for support, growth, and encouragement among all.
