2) READ about Kieran Read

Kieran Read is the captain of the All Blacks, the New Zealand rugby
national team. He was born on 26 th October 1985 in Papakura, New
Zealand.
Kieran started to play rugby when he was seven years old. Then, he went
to school in Auckland; he was a very good student, but he was excellent
at sports. He played rugby and football, and he was also a good swimmer.
After school, Kieran went to university to study Sports Science, and he became the captain of
the University Team. In 2007, Kieran started to play in a team called Crusaders. Then, in 2008,
he started to play in the All Backs. He has been the captain since 2014.
Kieran married Bridget Read in 2010. They have two daughters, Elle and Eden, and a son,
Reuben. Family is very important to Kieran.
To be fit, Kieran has a very healthy routine. He gets up at 6 a.m. and he runs on the beach.
Then, he has breakfast with his family, usually tea, bacon, eggs and a sandwich. After that, he
takes Elle and Eden to school and then he trains with the team. He has
lunch at around one with his family, Kieran has to eat a lot of pasta and
meat! Later, he takes the children to the park. After that, they have
dinner and watch TV. Finally, Kieran goes to bed at quarter to eleven.
