10 Tips for an awesome slide presentation:

1) Never read your slides, talk freely. Remember that your slides are only there to support,
not to replace your talk! Speak freely with confidence – loud and clear.
2) Images are key elements of every presentation. Your audience has ears and eyes –
they’ll want to see what you’re talking about, and a good visual cue will help them to
understand your message much better. A picture can say more than a thousand words.
3) Know your slides inside out.
4) Don’t speak too fast.
5) Maintain eye contact with the audience.
6) Use contrast - Black text on a white background will always be the best but also the most
boring choice. If you want to play with colors, keep it easy on the eyes and always keep
good contrast in mind so that your readers do not have to strain to guess what you’ve
typed on your slide.
7) Pick an easy to read font face. Carefully select font sizes for headers and text.
8) Restrict your design. Don’t ever let the design restrict your message.
9) Add slide numbers to your slides. They help you when you deliver, if you need to
navigate back and forth in your presentation. They will also facilitate the audience to get
back to you during Q&A session.
10) Don’t put too much text in your slides. It can distract or worse, irritate the audience.

Last but not least, make sure your slide presentation clear and understandable!!

Thank you & Good Luck!!!
