INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY (21-06-2018)

On 21stJune 2018 in the occasion of international day we volunteers conducted program in ou r

college A block lawn by the help of our Chairman sir, NSS coordinator sir, program officers, and
Departmental Coordinators and faculty. This program was inaugurated by Medchal district collector Dr.
M. V. REDDY, IAS. He addressed gather over there and gave valuable points on the yoga and exercise
and how it makes human to perfect personality in the society. Our secretary madam Mrs. NEELIMA
spoke few words on this.

ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

Anurag group of institutions national service scheme has organized an advisory board
committee meeting to the advisory board members , department coordinators and the student
coordinators with all the three programme officers C.MALLESHA,PO-I; RASOOL,PO-II; P.NAVEEN,
PO-III and K.S.RAO, director, Anurag group of institutions for planning the events to be organized for
this academic year.

SOFT SKILL TRAINNING PROGRAME

(16-07-2018 to 24-07-2018)

Our AGI NSS cell organized soft skill training programme for the volunteers which was held by AGI
academic coordinator M.SRINIVAS sir. This has been conducted from 16-07-2018 to 24-07-2018 at
E-block discussion hall. This has been inaugurated by AGI director K.S.RAO sir. On the behalf of this
Srinivas sir conducted sessions based on self assessment, time management, career building, learning
and speaking skills etc.

BOOK DISTRIBUTION (17-07-2018)

In order to help the poor children in the government schools who don’t have enough money to buy note
books we AGI NSS cell started a new event in district level free note book distribution for greedy
people. This event was inaugurated by Rachakonda Police Commissioner M MAHESH BHAGWAT.
Dr. K S RAO, C MALLESHA, NEELIMA and student coordinators and volunteers were participated.

Police commissioner spoke few words regarding this great moment and he distributed few books to the
students of MAKTHA and THENUGUDEM. In this event students and faculty of the school have been
involved.

HARITHA HARAM (17-07-2018)

In the part of haritha haram AGI NSS cell conducted haritha haram on 17th July 2018. Event was
inaugurated by M MAHESH BHAGWAT IPS Rachakonda police commissioner. In this event our
college chairman MLC PALLA RAJESHWAR REDDY, NSS program coordinator C MALLESHA,
other program officers and students were participated planted about 75 trees in college premises.

After the tree plantation M MAHESH BHAGWAT spoke few words on importance of the trees and
what are the advantages of planting the trees. And he also spoke how to protect the trees and then how
they protect the environment.

Our AGI NSS cell in association with department of English organized value based education for
engineering students by SWAMI BODHAMAYANANDA director VIHE on 31-07-2018 at D-BLOCK
auditorium. As a part of this PO’S C.MALLESHA, P. NAVEEN, faculty coordinators vivek and student
volunteers have been participated.

BLOOD DONATION (31-07-2018)

As the part of regular activities in the NSS we organized blood donation camp in the college
level this event was inaugurated by chief guest honorable Medchal dist. Collector Dr. M V REDDY
IAS. This camp is conducted in association with the Red Cross society and hima bindu blood bank. In
this event AGI director Dr. K S RAO, AGI NSS cell coordinator C MALLESHA, secretary NEELIMA,
academic coordinator M SRINIVASA RAO and NSS volunteers were participated. Collector sir spoke
few words regarding the camp he told that blood donation is the giving rebirth to the person and he also
added a note on the importance of blood donation.

BOOK DISTRIBUTION AT CHOWDARIGUDA (31-07-2018)

AGI NSS cell conducted free note book distribution for chowdariguda govt school children on
31-07-2018. This event was inaugurated by IAS officer Dr.M V Reddy, C MALLESHA, P. NAVEEN,

NSS ORIENTATION DAY (04-08-2018)

AGI NSS conducted an orientation day on 04-08-2018 to recruit new NSS volunteers for the
academic year 2018-19.Our chief guest Dr.P.SAMMULAL sir NSS program coordinator JNTUH

As the part of swachh pakwada program our NSS cell organized a guest lecture by
Dr.PURUSHOTAM sir prof Osmania University and RAVI TEJA. Regarding this session

JNTUH national service scheme has organized university level swachh pakwada
programme ON 16-08-2018 in spreading the awareness on swachh bharat among the volunteers
for which 7 volunteers from Anurag group of institutions have been deputed. On behalf of this
event volunteers cleaned the premises of JNTUH campus to bring out awareness among the
students regarding Swachtha.

Our senior volunteer attended a National Integration Camp organized in University of

Agriculture GKVK, Bangalore, India.

Anurag group of institutions national service scheme has organized republic day celebrations for
which several competitions like singing, dancing, elocution, parade were conducted and the
special guest for the event was Dr. K.S.RAO, director, AGI has hoisted the flag along with
Dr.MUTTHAREDDY, dean of AGI, TARASINGH THAKUR, physical director, AGI; and
program officers C.MALLESHA, P. NAVEEN, RASOOL and the faculty of AGI along with the
students were involved in making the event successful.
