2. Narrate how you were taught with this particular subject in elementary and high school.

Since I was in elementary grade my teacher taught me arts by coloring story books and wanted as to draw trees, flowers, houses,
animals using pencil and crayons. Thinking about now, it would have been a happy memories but I do not remember being encouraged by
my teacher about arts particularly in visual arts. I remember I used to draw fruit trees around our house using my mongol pencil on my
grade school pad or paper. As I moved to high school . I started to compare my artwork to my classmates, and that is when I realized my
skill is no better. I did not improve at all since the first time I had in my art class in MSEP subject. Thru out my high school my confidence is
not develop but when my teacher explained that drawing is an expression of our feelings, emotions, and sentiments I understand that its
my right to do it in my own style and medium and it is unique and I must be proud of it as my master piece that convinced me to be
contented whenever I finished an artwork. Now a days I am able to handle and become motivated to enroll teaching arts at Xavier
University Ateneo de Cagayan.
