My Heroic Journey: Magical Weapons

Recently I was asked what is stopping me from being the person I've always imagined,

because of the skills I carry I was able to say nothing. I carry great communication, work ethic,

and leadership skills. All of those skills have so far helped me through the journey of life and in

accomplishing many of my personal goals.

In life, communication is key because it is the foundation of relationships and helps us

understand one another. I noticed when I started communicating more to others I got to listen to

different perspectives on a single topic. It's very important to me that I take this skill with me

through my journey because in today's society we need to start being open-minded with others

opinions especially if we want to create a compromise for certain situations.

Great work ethic is a skill I developed only because I had a great role model, my dad. In

life, nothing is handed to you on a silver platter and my dad made that very clear. Strong work

ethic is important to be successful in your career because it helps you form great habits such as

focusing and persistence. Persistence is really important in everyday life because at moments in

your life you will have to overcome many obstacles.

Leadership is a skill many people have, but little can actually execute. Becoming a leader

isn't making others do things you wouldn't want to or making yourself higher. Not many people

need to be a leader in order to have a successful life because everyone has a different career path

they want to follow. In the future, I want to be a veterinarian and having leadership skills

extremely important because in certain situations people will have to rely on me to understand

what needs to be done.

Having these skills have helped me achieve my goal of getting accepted to a four-year

university and will continue to in the future. Everyone has different skills and these are a few I

am fortunate to have developed over time. Each of these skills has played a big role in my life

now, but just because I'm happy with what I have now doesn't mean I shouldn't stop seeking for

more.
