RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

Summary of the Findings

This study was taken with the general objective of determining the

effects of the increasing popularity of Taytay tiangge to the flow of traffic and to the

day to day lives of people.

1. Taytay Tiangge helping the municipality of Taytay

Based on the findings of the study, Taytay Tiangge helps the Municipality

of Taytay by making the municipality popular and helping it economically.

With its popularity, many people tend to buy there and increase the number

of buyers in Tiangge which will be good for the tourism of the municipality. It also

increases investments it received. Also, based on the findings, Taytay Tiangge

helps the municipality economically by increasing the income and money Taytay

holds and decreasing the unemployment rate of the municipality.

Majority said that the Taytay helps the municipality through the income it

gets with the total number of respondents saying it numbering for about (10)

respondents.

2. Effects of increasing number of tiangge to the flow of traffic in Taytay

Based in the findings of the study, the effects of the increasing number

of tiangge to the flow of traffic in Taytay are the Illegal things it brings which causes

traffic, the area being overpopulated bringing traffic in the area and ruining the values

and ethics of the people in tiangge affecting the traffic flow of Taytay.

3. Advantage and disadvantage of Taytay Tiangge to the day to day life of people

Based on our findings, Taytay Tiangge has a lot of advantage compare to its

disadvantage which is good for the people of Taytay.

Majority of the respondents tell that the advantage of Taytay Tiangge is that

it provides cheap and budget friendly products followed by Taytay Tiangge being

easy to locate and not too far away. Additionally, it was also their source of income.

Also, the disadvantage of Taytay tiangge to the people is also one of our

concern. Based on our findings, the low quality of products, illegal vendors and the

traffic it caused were the disadvantage of Taytay Tiangge.

4. Solutions and measures to be implemented to reduce the traffic in Taytay

without compromising the Taytay Tiangge

Based on our findings, the solutions or measures to be implemented were

building a new infrastructure in Taytay which are the overpass and pedestrian lanes

which help people cross the roads and drivers to make the flow of traffic smooth.

Also, fixing the ethics and values of people in tiangge are one solutions that will

help in reducing the traffic in Taytay and lastly, additional enforcer and improving

their skills is one solutions respondents think will help Taytay when talking about

the traffic issues.

Conclusion

The following info is the synthesized rendition of the data the researchers

gathered. These could be used as reference in tackling the problems that occur in the

vicinity of the Taytay tiangge:

• The increasing popularity of Taytay Tiangge makes the municipality of

Taytay itself popular and Taytay Tiangge increases the people from neighbor

cities buying product there and going there.

• Taytay Tiangge helps the municipality by increasing its income and the

money it holds because of the fast cycle of money from the increase number

of buyers inside the tiangge.

• Taytay Tiangge is a big source of income of the municipality and Many

businessmen get this opportunity to sell their goods and get income through

it.

• The Taytay Tiangge offers a wide variety of products (mostly clothing) that

are sold at a more affordable price.

• The items for sale in the tiangge wouldn’t always have top quality. Most of

the time they would break easily.

• The tiangge plays a big role in determining the flow of traffic in the area since

it is a place where people would come and go.

Recommendation

After analyzing and interpreting the data gathered to the respondents, the

researchers wish to make some recommendations, which, if taken into consideration,

might bring some positive changes to the current approach.

For the Residence

The researcher recommended the residences to Learn, value and practice the

importance of proper etiquette. Cross on the right pedestrian, follow traffic rules and

park on designated areas.

For the Local Government

They may help in leading the traffic in Taytay if they may participate or

attend seminar in practicing the leadership level, training and monitoring that inspire

the professional growth and development of the municipality and additionally the

local government must make a project to reduce traffic.

For the Vendor

The other Illegal vendors must cooperate in relocating them on better places

so that the sidewalks are free to walk. The vendors may find other areas to sell their

products to decrease the traffic that they cause because of the road congestions.

For the Drivers

The researchers suggested that the drivers must obey the traffic policies to

lessen the traffic problems. Especially those to the drivers who has their own cars

when going to tiangge. And also, to the PUJ drivers, tricycle drivers and other

drivers.

For the future researchers

The researchers would like to advice the future researchers to have a more

extensive information with respect to this issue, and to have a more comprehensive

research regarding this topic. Concerning point, for them to know the increasing

popularity of Taytay tiangge and its effect to the traffic and day-to-day life of the

people around Taytay, and for them to fully understand all about this matter
