AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, BELLE , of legal age of legal age, married, Filipino, and residing at

at No. 456, Beast St., Provincial Life Village, Pasay City, after having been
duly sworn to in accordance with law hereby depose and state that:

1. On November 10, 2018 at around 2:00 o clock, I was in our residential

house in Provincial Life Village, Pasay City. I was with my sister Mrs. Potts
in the living room she visited me because we have not seen each other for
quite a long. Thereafter, my husband just got home from work. Upon his
arrival he went directly to the kitchen and I immediately followed him and
I ask him for his salary because I need to buy our monthly supplies in the
supermarket. We had heated argument after he refuses to give some of his
money.

2. Mrs. Potts which is my sister go out from our house and when she
returned she was accompanied by my husband’s uncle Cogsworth. My
husband continued to argue and Cogsworth tried to stop us but he was
asked by my husband not to meddle our affairs. Thereafter, I saw his uncle
Cogsworth went to our laundry area located at the back portion of our
house. When he went back I was surprise that he had a bolo with him and
pointed it directly to my husband Gaston. My husband begged him to put it
down but instead he shouted at him. Suddenly, Cogsworth try to hit my
husband with his bolo, but luckily he avoided such attack instead he hit the
edge of our dining table. Afterwards, Cogsworth made another attack to my
husband and out of fear for his life he was able to grab the wooden chair
beside him and struck Cogsworth to protect himself. After that, Cogsworth
fall on the ground and after 20 minutes the ambulance has arrived.

3. I am executing this Affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing

facts and to testify that the accused Gaston had acted in self-defense as I there
the entire time.
