To create transverse girde

Select the stiffener definition table:

Add last line

Between fr 20 till fr 200 in ever 3rd frame.

FLoor stiffeners:

ck the limits of stiffeners

Always select the current object with F5 (for example floors) and then work in that

In general section view stiffeners may not be shown.

Row 4 is common for all deck5000 stiffener

Row 5 is only for the stiffener “”S4”” which is at 0.4m from c.l

Profile id “”tw” means height of flange in the T section excluding the web

Providing openings in stiffeners

ID= H1 – H is for hole option

Set= XFH is syntax and S3 is indicating the web at row 3

Loctn= 2.8 4.6 ect are the Y locations for SB side give in negative value

And h=0.25 indicates the location of the hole from the deck

Profile= E*250*150 ....E is for cutouts we can customise in tools>library>stiffeners

Notches in girders/stiffeners : remember girder is also a stiffener

By giving endcut code 1500 in the stiffener row we can get corner notches for girders
To see the endcut code 1500 go to tools >library>endcuts

In general all the transverse webs stops at the longitudinal girder hence notch is to be
there.

To enable this go to tools>administration

Split physical stiffener change to “”ON””

Save

Press F5

Seams at bottom shell

In seam definition create bottom>new

For side shell see the columns below
For the other side type the seam name in seam definition

Presss f5
