Newton's Third Law of Motion Experiment

Instructions:

1. Before starting the experiment, you will need the following items.
● Foam Track
● 2 Marbles (Same Size)
● 1 Textbook (To Stop Marble)
2. Once you have the items that are listed above, you are ready to begin your
experiment.
3. Place the Foam Track on your lab station.
4. Then take one of your marbles and place it on the center of your track.
5. Take the other marble and place it at the beginning of your track.
6. Then roll the marble at the beginning of the track towards the other marble
on the center of the track.
7. When the marbles meet, write what happens below.

8. Now take both marbles and place them at opposite ends of the foam track.
9. Roll both marbles towards each other.
10. Observe what happens to the marbles, write what happens below.
