 Design & Engineering of Sub- Transmission pipeline for (GA-2) Custody Transfer System

for connecting Compressors in more than 50 CNG stations in downstream.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Conducting Preliminary Route Survey to identify techno-economical pipeline routes considering various
aspects like reducing number of special crossings, populated area, etc, also conducted HAZOP/Risk
Assessment studies, whenever required.
 Verifying reconnaissance survey, Detailed Route survey,Alignment sheets, Soil Resistivity Survey Drawings &
Reports of proposed Pipeline.
 Verifying Pipeline Route Alignment, Major Crossing Drawing & Isometric Drawings, before issue for
Construction.
 Carrying out FEED & Concept Engineering of Various Pipeline Projects.
 Adept at calculating wall thickness, pipeline sizing for High pressure gas pipeline in Synergee GAS.
 Possess in depth knowledge of working in pipeline & process design software’s like AUTOCAD, Synergee GAS,
CAESER II etc
 Performing stress calculation in Special crossings like Highway & railway as per API 1102 & Other Guidelines.
 Acquaintance with International codes of practice & standards relevant to natural gas engineering like ASME,
IGE, API, ASTM, OISD,AGA and technical specification of PNGRB.
 Involved in Creating & Reviewing Technical Specification of various Materials used in Pipeline construction
and also carrying out Technical Bid Analysis for evaluating bidders of ERW, HSAW, Seamless pipes, Ball Valves,
Globe valves, Filtration Skid, 3LPE Coating, pipe fittings etc
 Preparing Tender documents for new Pipeline Laying Contract such as Scope of work, Special conditions of
Contract, Strip plan, Valve assembly Drawings Specifications for various activities including scope for
Trenchless technologies such as HDD and Boring
 Evaluated GAD & P&ID’s of filter skid, Gas regulating skid, metering stations.
 Expedited Inspection and testing activities of critical Gas carrying items during procurement viz steel pipe,
Ball valves, 3 layers PE coating, FAT of metering skids, etc
 Preparing proposal, Costing, Estimates & tenders, evaluating bids while finalizing contracts and generating
internal customer loyalty levels.
 Determining total cost of alternative Pipeline Route options whenever required.
 Develop procedures, Specification, Scope of work and schedule of Rates for Contracts.
 Involved in Material indenting, Techno-commercial Bid Evaluation, and giving Purchase Recommendations.
 Deft at preparing tender package for construction of pipeline networks, arrange pre-bid conference,
evaluation of bids, recommendation.
 Actively Participated in establishing the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management processes &
Involving in preparation of HSE Clause for Pipeline laying Tenders.
