REPORT OF QUIZ COMPETITION
INTRODUCTION
We ,M.Sc. Nursing 1st year obstetric and gynecological group conducted a quiz competition on 28-3-2011
with B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year students on the Topic – Stages Of Labour under the constant guidance of Ms
Jodi Bala Haobijam (Assist. Professor Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing. This quiz competition was
conducted for students of B.Sc.Nursing 3rd year keeping in mind their curriculum and for assessing and
enhacing their knowledge about the topic.
For the selection of group pretest was conducted. Prior permission was taken from class coordinator of
B.Sc.Nursing 3rd year for conducting quiz programme and pretest .Notice for student about the pretest was
displayed on notice board of BSc Nursing 3rd year. On 24-3-2011 pretest knowledge questionnaire tool was
conducted for B.Sc. nursing 3rd year students (2010-2011) in lecture Hall -3.The test was of 30 questions of
MCQ. The time duration for test was 30 minutes. After pretest the result was analyzed. On the basis of
marks obtained (more than 55%) in the pretest students were selected. Four teams A, B.C and D were
formed. Team was comprised of 4 members. .

150 questions were prepared quiz competition and checked by Ms Jodi Bala on 26-3-2011. Invitation was
given to principal, all HOD’s of all department and all faculty members. Responsbilities were deligated to
the group members as well as rounds with their rules for quiz were decided.

are going to conduct a quiz competition on date 28 March,2011 from
1.30 -2.30 pm.
Selection of participates will be on the basis of marks obtained (more
than 18 out of 25 ) in the pretest which will be held on 24th March 2011
sfrom 1.30-2.30 pm
