SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IN ISLAM

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Alhadulillahirobbil ‘alamin, wabihi nasta’in, ‘ala umurridunnya waddiin. Wa’ala alihi
wa ashabihi ajma’in. amma ba’du.
Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you thank to Allah the
Almighty, who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in this
blessing place. And don’t forget Sholawat and Salam to our prophet Muhammad
SAW, who has brought us from the darkness to the brightness, so we are always in
the right way.
Dear Honorable to all of the judges
Dear speakers and my Brothers and Sisters

Now I would like to deliver my speech entitle SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IN ISLAM.

My Brothers and sisters!
Science has an important role in this journey of life. With someone would be steadier
in the exercise of worship to God Almighty. Know the actual purpose and essence.
However, in contrast to someone who is blind would be the science of religion, then
everything you do will not know the basics and real purpose. It is not to impinge on
the Muslim and we should realize every Muslim has a duty to study.

Seek the knowledge and you must get priority on every Muslim. People learned and
then know the road that will be traveled. People crave happy life in the world and it
must have knowledge. People who crave happiness of hereafter wordl shall have
science anyway. Therefore be not to feel tired to study, and anywhere we have to
keep looking though the country of china, as a similar
Our prophet said:
“Seeking knowledge is the obligation of every Moslem”

But do you know why our prophet Muhammad SAW obligates us to seek
knowledge? The answer is because knowledge is very important in our life. With
knowledge, we can do everything, even we can be the best creature in the world.
Beside that, Allah rises the rank of the knowledge people. Allah said in Al-Qur’an at
Al-Mujadalah verse 11:

َ‫َّللاُ الَّذِين‬
َّ ِ‫ش ُزوا َي ْرفَع‬ ُ ‫ش ُزوا فَا ْن‬ُ ‫َّللاُ لَ ُك ْم ۖ َو ِإذَا ِقي َل ا ْن‬ َ ‫س ُحوا ِفي ْال َم َجا ِل ِس فَا ْف َس ُحوا َي ْف‬
َّ ِ‫سح‬ َّ َ‫َيا أَيُّ َها الَّذِينَ آ َمنُوا ِإذَا ِقي َل لَ ُك ْم تَف‬
‫َّللاُ ِب َما ت َ ْع َملُونَ َخ ِبير‬
َّ ‫ت ۚ َو‬ ٍ ‫آ َمنُوا ِم ْن ُك ْم َوالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا ْال ِع ْل َم دَ َر َجا‬

“Allah rises the rank of faithful people among you and the knowledge people. Allah
knows so much what you did.”

My Brothers and sisters!

Seeking knowledge is not easy, there are many troubles to get it, especially in this
globalization era. So according to Islam, the best method to get knowledge is
READING. By reading we can choose where the best knowledge for us and where
the worst knowledge for us. Because actually there are some bad knowledge like
magic, black science and much more. And now, Islam have a trouble, it is drugs. If
the students as the young generations consume drugs, our generations will be bad
because drugs will break our potential and make us difficult to get knowledge.

My Brothers and sisters!

From this speech we can conclude that:
1. Knowledge is very important in our life
2. To get knowledge there are so many troubles,
For those reasons, I suggest to audiences here especially for the young generation, If
you want to be success in the future. Please seeking knowledge now. Believe it, if
you do it you will get everything you want, and remember never use drugs!

May be only this that I can tell you for now, with the hope what I have said here will
be useful for all of us, I’m sorry if I have a mistake, and to Allah I ask forgiveness.
