3. Motivation
 Before we start our new lesson, we will play a game. the name of
the game is “Do I like+Gerund”. I’ll divide the class into two
groups.
 Mechanics: Like the game Pinoy Henyo, each group will have a
representative to guess the word and the other member will act
the given word in 10 seconds. The group who will got the highest
score after 10 words will be the winner.
 Rules: Before you guess the word you will ask “Do I like?” + the
word and other member will answer “No, you don’t” or “Yes, you
do” if it’s correct.
(The purpose of this game is to review the students about verb through
projecting actions. Through this, they will be familiarized and able to distinguish
verb forms as a preparation for our today’s lesson: infinitives.)

4. Lesson Proper
 Our lesson for today is about infinitives.
Infinitive is a verb form that can be used as a noun, an adjective or
an adverb. It consists of the word “to” plus the basic form of the
verb. Because infinitive is not a verb, you cannot add s, es, ed or
ing.
 Infinitives can be used as a noun often used as a subject or a
direct object.
 Infinitives can be used as an adjective when it gives more
information about the noun.
 Infinitives can be used as an adverb that tells about the verb.
A. Activity
 Ask several students to answer in the board.
Underline the infinitives and write its usage in the blanks.
