DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ART (Rewritten)

GRADE 4

I. Objectives
At the end of the period, the class will be able to:
A. Determine the difference of textures in 2D and 3D art forms
B. Appreciate the relief printing by relating it to its texture
C. Create an artwork that shows the different kinds of texture.

II. Subject matter


Main concept : Relief Printing
Sub – concept : Texture (Actual and Visual texture)
Materials:
 Bar of Clay
 Acrylic or Poster Paint
 Paintbrush
 Newspaper
 Apron or Extra Shirt
 Oslo Paper

Mystery Box
Direction: The pupil will be blindfolded and
guess the object based on its texture.

 Cotton
 Sand paper

We’ll have an activity! And we’ll call it “Smooth
or Rough”
