Description
Fosfiber P1 is a high performance micro polypropylene fibre Control slab without Control slab with
which complies with the requirements of ASTM C1116 Fosfiber P1 concrete fiber Fosfiber P1 concrete fiber
developed as a crack controlling additive for cementitious
materials. It is available as monofilament in various lengths; Specification
12 mm and 15 mm for concrete and 6mm in length for plaster
and mortar. It is used to inhibit the formation of small cracks Concrete shall be manufactured using crack controlling
which can occur through plastic shrinkage, premature drying additives such as Fosfiber P1. The crack controlling additive
and early thermal changes, in order to provide utilization of shall be based on a polypropylene fibre with an individual
the intrinsic properties of the hardened cementitious material fibre thickness of 18 micron.

Addition Dispensing Rates
The performance of Fosfiber P1 is best assessed after
preliminary trials in the laboratory, or on site using the actual
mix constituents under consideration to determine the effect
on concrete properties.
