Care had to be taken in order to protect the old


houses during construction work in the rocky
underground. A total length of 4 km has been

The Indoor vacuum sewage collection system


reduces operational costs in often-frequented toilet
facilities. Large quantities of water are saved, costs
are reduced and the economy benefits. The project
has an impressively low carbon footprint as it uses
only 1 litre of water for each flush, compared with
8-9 litres used by traditional systems.
