ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Senior Airman Marco A. Sanchez Heredia distinguished himself by meritorious service as Commander
Support Staff Journeyman, 22d Maintenance Squadron, 22d Maintenance Group, McConnell Air Force Base,
Kansas. During this period, Airman Sanchez Heredia developed a manning database to monitor and validate
the squadron’s authorized positions. His comprehensive database tracked over four hundred authorized
maintenance positions and afforded squadron leaders 100 percent visibility of assigned personnel.
Additionally, Airman Sanchez Heredia spearheaded the end of year leave balance audit, in which he identified
seventy personnel with use or lose leave balances. His outstanding attention to detail saved squadron
personnel 350 days of lost leave. Finally, Airman Sanchez Heredia’s management of the virtual Personnel
Center Dashboard generated 180 reporting official updates and created three hundred enlisted performance
report sites. His expertise was paramount to the achievement of a 95 percent on-time rate for enlisted
performance reports to Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center. The distinctive accomplishments of Airman
Sanchez Heredia reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
