Artifact 5: Data and Observation Worksheet

I have included this data and observation worksheet to demonstrate my understanding of

instructional planning and strategies. This assignment involves different observations I made in a
previous practicum cite looking for classroom organization and routines. This assignment has
great first hand insight and observations from an actual classroom at Emily Grey Middle School
in Tanque Verde school district. I included this artifact because it demonstrates how to
understand instructional planning and strategies in the classroom.

As special educators it is important to have a good snice of time and strategies to have in
your back pocket. This assignment made me look for certain things around the classroom like
having the day’s lesson planned out on the board as well as strategies used when students or
things go the wrong direction. In this experience I learn a lot more about how important it is to
plan and be aware of what is going on in the classroom. I feel like it is critical to have good
planning time as well as a good set of strategies to use in the classroom.
