Mechanical properties of DokaPly Birch in standard thicknesses at sheet moisture content of 10 ± 2%.

The outside veneers of DokaPly Birch sheets have a fibre lay transverse to the long sheet edges. Consequently, the
sheets should be used in the primary load-bearing direction whenever possible.

Notes on use
Keep the sheets carefully covered to protect them from direct sunlight and moisture. Whenever sheets are cut to size on site, always treat the cut edges with a paint
finish suitable for exterior use. Use high-quality release agents like Doka Trenn or Doka OptiX. Seal screw-holes with silicon to reduce moisture absorption. Clean the
sheets carefully after each use. Treat the sheets with care - this will help extend their useful life and maximise the number of use cycles. More information is available
on request from a Doka branch near you.

General information
Wooden formwork sheets are a natural product. Moisture absorption and release, caused for example by changes in the weather and contact with wet concrete, can
result in swelling and shrinkage. Please appreciate that we cannot accept liability for climate- or weather-related changes in shape or surface condition.
All information on properties and appearance of the concrete surfaces and regarding possible number of use cycles of the formwork sheets are non-binding guide
values. Thy are quoted here for information purposes only, within the framework of formwork-related possibilities, the material-specific values for swelling and shrinka-
ge, the wood-type and sheet-specific properties and the conditions of use and treatment by the user.
