Scope of Work :

1. Vendor has to develop Target Echo simulator meeting the tender technical specifications.

2. Vendor has to follow the RCI provided block diagram/schematic in developing an Integrated system.

3. Proper care should be taken in routing of DC power supply lines, Digital I/O lines and 28V lines,
Coaxial cables and other components to be used inside final integrated box.

4. Proper cooling mechanism should be made available so that system is not limited in its usage/operation time .

5. Details of system operational flow is described in above paragraphs. Vendor has to comply and develop
the system meeting the desired functionality of intended use.
6. Model numbers and make of each of the sub-systems are provided for reference. Vendor may use the

same/similar products for developing the system. However, final system specifications should be
demonstrated as per tender technical document only.

7. Vendor should deliver a system which consists of respective sub-system interface cards (RS232 ,
1553B,High speed FPGA etc.,)& accessories in order to control them using a common GUI in real time.

8. Vendor should provide detailed document on technical know-how or a power point presentation he is
going to adopt for developing the system meeting the system specifications.

9. Vendor has to supply all relevant Digital I/O cables, connectors and interface modules to cater for SUT
to Target separation of 5mtrs.

10. With respect to target Antenna System , which basically consists of 9 antenna (in 3x3 matrix) mounted on a
square plate , Each of these Target Antenna shall be mounted/arranged on a 500mm x 500mm non-metallic
plate which is in-turn mounted on a tripod stand (Height :1000mm -1400mm adjustable). RF switch (1:10)
module shall be mounted back side of the plate.

11. Antenna Selection shall one at a time. Switching time shall be 1us(min.) and pattern of antenna selection
can be for target angle simulation in any one axis(El/Az) or both axis simultaneous motion(El & Az) or random
pattern selection
12. Provision should be made available for System Built-in Test and also provide calibrated delay by
appropriately applying Delay compensation for varying SUT to Target Antenna physical separation(mtrs).

13. Following sub-systems may be used in developing the simulator :

(i) System Controller containing 1553B, High Speed TTL & 28V command lines
(ii) Frequency Translator for Doppler Simulation
(iii) RF Optical Delay Line for Delay Simulation
(iv) Variable Attenuator for 60 dB control
(v) RF Switch for connecting Echo output to any one of the 9 Antennas for Angle Simulation
14. a)Vendor should submit compliance matrix(meeting/Not meeting) against each of the
specification mentioned in tender enquiry.
b) Data sheets of the shelf items should be enclosed along with OEM authorization letter.

c) Vendor should develop the simulator meeting the specifications. The unit shall be tested against
each spec to verify functionality for acceptance by RCI.
d) Vendor should take care of DC-DC converter requirements.
e) Delivery time: 6 months after receipt of P.O.
f) Warranty: 03 Years.
g) COC should be provided for all the deliverable items.
h) List of deliverables with test certificates to be enclosed at the time of item delivery.
