USER GUIDE

1. Introduction

This index details the requirements for compiling and formatting the Manufacturers Data Report
(MDR) FOR ……..

The MDR will contain the complete quality documentation applicable to the traceability requirements
of the Contract. The MDR content requirement is by section.

2. Reference Documents

 Manufacturers Data Reports.– Rev.0 – Requirements for the Compilation of MDR’s by

Contractor

3. Responsibilities

Contractor
The Contractor shall check all documentation in the MDR is in accordance with the specified
requirements of the index and shall present one (1) hard copy & 1 electronic copy of the MDR to
Manager for review.

Manager
The Manager will review the contents of the MDR and return the document to the Contractor. If a non-
conformity is identified, the Contractor shall take necessary corrective action to update MDR records.

Acceptance

Upon incorporation of any comments made by the Manager, the Contractor shall submit the required
number of MDR copies (hard and soft) to the Manager in the required amount as stipulated in the
Contract.

4. MDR Index

Upon acceptance of the MDR Index by the Manager, the Contractor shall progressively compile the
MDR.

A general section shall be inserted at the start of Volume 1 comprising of:

 A paginated index of the contents of each volume of the overall MDR document.

4.2 Manager Review

The MDR shall be progressively populated and kept up to date with the quality records generated
during the life of the Contract. The MDR shall be made available to the Company’s Representative for
review upon request.

4.3 Legibility

Documents included in the MDR shall be:

 Originals or clearly legible copies

 Complete in all respects
 Written in the English language

5. Contents of the Manufacturer’s Data Report (MDR)

The MDR shall contain all the information and documentation required in accordance with the
Contract, technical specifications and the Company accepted MDR index. Any section with no
documentation applicable must have a single sheet of paper inserted stating this section not
applicable also identify on the index.
