Lesson idea implementation: Using popplet to intro the lesson, giving out blank worksheet for students to
follow the my presentation. After my presentation, I will have students to work in teams and assign each of
them a Earth’s Layer for them to research on. Teams will spend couple class using in class laptops to their
researches as well as using Popplet to create their presentation. I will check their work each class to make
sure they have their daily goal meet and grade as formative assessment. By the presentation day, each team
will present their findings about their assign layer.
Reflective Practice: I feel that this project can have great impact to students. By allowing them to research on
their own, and create a presentation on their own (they can use more than just Popplet) will help students to
improve their creativity. Also for students who shy to talk in front of the class, they can use Voki and add their
audio onto their avatar and let the avatar do the talk.
