PRECAST CONCRETE RETAINING WALL SYSTEMS ACP a (CONCRETE) LIMITED Peer) See) BRITISH die) NY ea eae eccal De eee) Pecoetos) Reta Horizontal Panels Horizontal prestressed panels are simply supported by vertical steel columns. Panels can be face fixed or slotted between the column webs as desired. A tongue and groove joint system en- ables the panels to share the load and ensures that the panels fit together neatly. The load from the stored/retained material passes through the panels into the supporting steel structure, Panels are available in different thicknesses to suit a variety of applications and load/span situations. A range of standard heights are custom made to any lenath to suit post spacing. Vertical Cantilever Panels Prestressed vertical cantilever panels provide a rapid, flexible, permanent, retaining wall solution. Wall units are offered in a range of standard widths and thicknesses, with heights manufactured to suit each ap- plication. A future proof design ensures all units can be loaded from either face. This also allows flexibility in the foundation orientation; particularly beneficial in boundary wall constructions. The modular units lock together with tongue and groove joint system. The joint also allows units to follow a moderate radius enabling the construction of concave and convex walls structures. ‘Aull design and build package solution is avaliable. Precast Concrete Wall Systems L Shape and Arrow Panels Traditional L shaped precast retaining units are manufactured in 1m widths. Units are available in heights up to 3.6m. Unlike many earlier designs, bespoke heights are also available without prohibitive set up costs. ‘The design also features constant wall stem section making truly vertical wall faces and increased resistance to high level impacts. An added benefit is the square heel design that facilitates flush wall to floor joints and makes simple corner arrangements. ‘The freestanding Arrow panels are designed to produce robust, durable division walls that are readily re-located. The units tongue and groove joints lock together on placement without the need of complex steel connections. Stability is provided by the massive dead weight base with cast-in fork lift recess to enable fast, easy re-location, ‘Again the units are manufactured in almost any height to suit application, and in widths of 1m and 1.2m. In permanent locations, units may be dowel fixed and joints sealed. Boot Panels Boot wall retaining units are manufactured in lengths up to 10m to make for rapid, safe site construction, ‘Walls can be made in single panels up to 3m high ‘The support details depend on the wall height and anticipated surcharge loads. Lighter loads can be re- strained by simple drill and dowel fixing through the panel boot. With higher walls or larger imposed loads, additional restraint can be provided via an insitu boot cast on the completion of wall erection, or via a structural connection between the head of the wall and high level floor slab. The units are designed for the construction of low level retaining walls, ideal for distribution centre yard walls, ramp walls, machinery pits and loading dock head walls.
