ABSTRACT

RANGS Workshop Limited is one of the best automobile workshops in Bangladesh; The

Workshop has the following section: Mechanical, Electrical, Engine, Wheel Alignment and

Balancing, Vehicle Wash and Polish, Dent-Paint, Analyzer and Auto Logic Scanner.

The workshop is located at 387 Tejgaon Industrial Area; Dhaka-1208.The workshop is well-

designed. The workshop area is highly protected with private security guards and CC cameras.

I have acquired knowledge about Engine overhauling, Brake system overhauling, Suspension

system overhauling, Fuel system, Gear Box / Auto Transmission work, ATF Changer, Engine

General Service, Wheel Alignment and Balancing by the helps of RANGS Workshop Limited. l

have acquired the practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge about different kinds of

machineries by working in RANGS Workshop Limited during training time.

This workshop uses different kinds of hi-tech equipment like Computerized Alignment,

Computerized Alignment, Computerized Wheel Balancing, Injector Cleaner and Tester Machine,

ATF (Auto Transmission Fluid) Changer machine, Tire Changer, Four Post Hydraulic Lift, Multi

Scanner Computer for Mitsubishi Motors vehicles, Dealer level Diagnostic Computer for all

Mitsubishi Motors vehicles, Key Programmer, Spark plug cleaner and some other equipment for

servicing purposes. I have got a lot of helps from this workshop technicians and engineers in my

practical works, which will be very helpful in my future.

This thesis organized with five chapters. First chapter is about research background and

objective of this study. In chapter 2, elaborated literature review is presented about effect

of different factors on fuel stability, material degradation and their remedies. Chapter 3

contains materials and methods for this study with detail experimental setup. Chapter 4

includes experimental results and discussions of obtained results respectively. Conclusion

of this research work is drawn in chapter 5 along with constructive recommendation and

potential possibilities for further study.
