Tacna

I live in Tacna, a small city in the south of Peru. It has a population of over 341 638
people. It's near Chile, and it has a lot of tourists Chilean.

Tacna is the cleanest city in Peru because it hasn’t a lot of industry and also It has
beautiful natural places for example Calientes, Pachia, Miculla, Calana. And there
are also many historic buildings, for example the Cathedral, the Arco parabolico,
the museum of “Alto de la Alianza” and the museum Ferroviario”. But Tacna also
has in center ciy, modern buildings like shopping mall “Solari” and religious
buildings like the mosque.

The weather in Tacna is warm climate. Winters are cold and it always is cloudy and
it sometimes rains. In the summer is hotter, the people like going to the beach.

Tacna is famous also its food and has many country restaurants outside the city.
The typical plates are “Picante a la tacneña”, “arroz con pato”, “choclo con queso”.

What I like best about Tacna is that we are so close to nature. When I’m tired of
city life, I can easily get out and enjoy it, because the country places are relaxing
and healthy.
