Projects Hire is an online employement portal specializing in matching customers and


contractors for freelance projects. Customers can hire freelance professionals or companies as a
form of online projects outsourcing. The motto is "all talents invited" to target individuals who
have any kind of skillsets to earn extra income at their spare time.

In future, Projects Hire aims to develop an online auction marketplace for projects where
individuals can auction/sell their personal works through this platform for customers to bid.

There are 2 type of user roles: Contractor and Customer.

 Contractor
o Register free and set-up profile
o Contractor will get 10 free project bids for Basic subscription model. They can get
additional bids by doing the following:
 Refer a friend with unique coupon code. Successful referrals get 2 more bids

 Completed own profile (photo, address, portfolio details, skills level) get 5
more bids
 Like us on FB to get 1 more bid (screening required)
 Get 5 more bids for completing 5 projects successfully
o Subscribe as Premium member for $10 per month and receive 10 additional bids
monthly and be a "Sponsored" provider tagged to their usename when they bid for a
project
 Customer
o Register free to post projects as Basic member (posting last for 2 weeks by default)
o Get 2 "featured" listing tags for free when they post a project
o Customer can post as project work or tutoring and indicate the project category
o During project posting, there is an option for customer to purchase the posting as
"featured" listing (if not available anymore) at $2 each
o Extension of job post listing at $0.5 per day, extra $1 for 'bumping' the project post
up
o Customer can have option to pay for "premium bids only" at lumpsums of (we will
evalute contractor bids for customers)
 $50 for projects valued < $500
 $100 for projects valued > $500 and < $999
 $150 for projects valued > $1,000 and < $4,999
 $200 for projects > $5,000
o The job for contractor evaluation involves:
 Filtering of bids
 Initial Project management in vendor selection and requirements study
 Verification of vendor bid credentials
 Final 2-3 vendor proposal for customer final selection

The bidding process for contractors and customers:

 When a contractor decides to bid a project, they need to put in a short write-up why they
can take up the project (contact info must not be disclosed) - additional check needed for
email address and contact numbers
 Fees can be set as a fixed price project or hourly based and can indicate timeline/milestone
 Once project is bidded, it will be in contractor's "Inbox" for communication with customer
 Customer can then receive bids and evaluate
o Able to communicate with seller in the website "Inbox" only - additional check
needed for email address and numbers
o Award project and pay in according to milestones
o Customer will make payment to fund the project thru Escrow
o Once customer is happy to release funds, they can choose to do so
o Email automation for bids received

Projects Hire will get a percentage of fees for projects successfully awarded (5% for
projects $20 to $1,000, 4% for projects > $1,000 and < $5000, 3% for projects > $5,000).

There will be a dispute management system for both contractor and customer, should they are
not satisfied with the service or money paid.

In the next phase, talented individuals can earn another source of income by selling or
auctioning their project works. The seller can post their report writing, designs or I.T projects
for free (submit as password protected file to us). They must provide full details of project and
include screenshots and minimum write-up of the posting. Seller can set minimum amount for
project auction i.e. $10 for mobile app, or full purchase price i.e. $200 for website design. Time
period for each posting fixed at 2 weeks (option to extend every 1 week for $10). Customers
who are interested will submit bids (highest bid wins) and can submit unlimited times for each
posting once every hour (??). The bidding ends when auction time runs out or customer able to
meet the buy-out price. Projects Hire will get a 5% service fee of the transacted value.

3.0 Market Analysis Summary

Projects Hire target student individuals, business starts-up and organizations who want a
certain project done with affordable prices. This intend to unite all freelance talents for them to
earn cash at spare time in areas of:

 Online tutoring
 School projects

Projects Hire target the Asia-Pacific region market where online outsourcing projects is
relatively low. Our most important group of potential customers are tutors and students for
online tutoring and schools project. The internet has made it easy for students to share
information and online learning. This service of online homework help can help students in
finishing their homework assignments and other projects
within the due given by the supervisor or instructor.

4.0 Strategy and Implementation Summary

4.1 Competitive Edge

Online services such as tutoring, essay writing and school projects offered to customers as this
is still a developing market. There is also an option for customers to engage our vendor
evaluation services to filter out projects bid. Moreover, the projects auction business model
separates itself from other competitors.

4.2 Marketing Strategy

4) Setup Facebook page for social-networking
5) Submit business to site directories and online business review websites
6) Run a contest on Company Logo and Namecard designs submission, with 500 words write-up
of what you think we are providing, and the best chosen will win $1,000 cash

In the next phase, there will be a referral campaign for successful referrals sign-ups will stand a
chance to win iPhone 5, iPad mini or Note 2.

4.3 Sales Strategy

As the business model is solely online, Projects Hire will be using Escrow payment gateway for
transactions. There is a subscription based model for contractors at $10 per month for their
account. The main revenue stream is from service fees for projects agreed. Once a project is
successfully bidded, Projects Hire will get a percentage of service fees for projects successfully
awarded in the following model:

 5% of project value for projects $20 to $1,000


 4% of project value for projects > $1,000 and < $5000
 3% of project value for projects > $5,000

For the projects auction model in the next phase, Projects Hire will take 5% of the transacted
price.

4.4 Milestones

In order to achieve the sales and marketing goals that have been outlined in this business plan,
Projects Hire has deadlines to meet and ideas to implement. Some of these are highlighted
below:
 Business discussions will be ongoing for ideas brainstorming to review on feasibility
 Website application requirements will be discussed as part of business and to be finalized
before end of Dec 2012
 Website development target to begin by late Dec 2012 or early Jan 2013 using DNN and
MSSQL platform
