TRAMA:
Alice e PETER sono fidanzati e per le feste natalizie decidono di far
incontrare le loro famiglie organizzando un viaggio a Londra dove abita la
famiglia di lui.
Durante la rappresentazione ascolterete dialoghi sia in inglese che in
italiano e vi presenteremo alcuni dei monumenti e simboli più significativi
della capitale britannica.

I due fidanzati parlano al telefono circa l’arrivo all’aeroporto di Londra .

SCENA 2
La famiglia italiana arriva all’aeroporto di Heathrow di Londra dove li
attende il fidanzato. Lui e la fidanzata si avviano all’hotel, mentre gli altri
5 prendono un taxi. Durante il viaggio vedono alcuni dei monumenti più
interessanti della città.

Alice Dai muovetevi. Peter sarà arrivato!

Mamma Eccoci, eccoci, i bagagli pesano sai!

nonno È grande questo aeroporto. Come hai detto che si

chiama?
Fratello Heathrow nonno, col TH : Heathrow!
Nonna Ma l’albergo è qui vicino?
Papà No, dobbiamo arrivare a Londra e ci vuole circa un’ora.
Peter Alice! Hi Everybody! Tutto bene? Welcome to England!

La mattina dopo la famiglia italiana fa un giro per Londra e cerca un
fioraio dove comprare una Stella di Natale che porterà a casa della
famiglia inglese.

Papà Brr che freddo, meno male che non piove. Andiamo dai
Wilson allora?
mamma Guardate! Ci sono i cori di Natale. Fermiamoci ad
ascoltare dai!
CORISTI carols (canti)
nonno Che bravi e che bei canti. Proprio un’atmosfera
natalizia.
mamma Allora adesso troviamo un fioraio per comprare la stella
di Natale da portare a casa di Peter.
fratello Ora chiedo al Bobby. (Entra il vigile)
Excuse me, can you tell me where is a flower shop,
please?
BOBBY Yes. Look, go straight on along this street and, at the
traffic lights, turn right in Saint Mary Street. The flower
shop is next to the supermarket.

SCENA 5
A casa di Peter si preparano le ultime cose in attesa che arrivino gli ospiti
per il pranzo di Natale. La tradizione inglese prevede alcuni piatti tipici
come il tacchino ripieno, i cavoletti di Bruxelles, le patate al forno, alcune
salse alla menta o alla frutta, salsicce avvolte nel bacon e per dolce il
famoso Christmas Pudding a base di frutta secca, uva sultanina, ciliegie e
brandy. Inoltre usano indossare delle coroncine e aprire dei pacchetti
sorpresa.

Melanie Liiiiiiz! Where are you! Is the turkey ready?

Liz Yes, Malanie yes. Can you help me please? Come here.
Melanie I’m coming!
Rosemary The table is complete. Oh no! The crackers! Where are
the crackers Peter?!
Peter Keep calm Rosemary. The crackers are in the box near the
Christmas tree.
