1. INTRODUCTION

This Project specification is an addendum to the NIOEC Standard Specification NIOEC-SP-

00-02 (2) and is issued for Basic Design Phase of Gurreh - Jask Pipeline and Facilities project.
The following annotation, as specified hereunder, have been used to indicate the type of
change made to the equivalent clause of NIOEC Specification.

Substitution: The clause in NIOEC Specification shall be deleted and replaced by the new
clause in this Job Specification.

Deletion: The clause in NIOEC Specification shall be deleted without any replacement.

Addition: The new clause with the new number shall be added to the relevant section of
NIOEC Specification.

Modification: Part of the clause or paragraph in NIOEC Specification shall be modified

and/or the new description and/or statement shall be added to the clause or paragraph as
given in this Job Specification

The clause or section numbering of mentioned NIOEC Specification has been used
throughout this Job Specification.

The clauses which are not mentioned in the following amendments shall be considered
unaltered.

2. MODIFICATION TO NIOEC SPECIFICATION

This Job Specification is based on relevant NIOEC Specification NIOEC-SP-00-02 (2), with
the following modifications:

The revision of AASHTO M 147-65 (2008) shall be modified as follows:
