On successful completion of this module, you should be able to:

1 understanding of resource classification;
2 appreciation of all aspects associated with data collection and interpretation;
3 overview of resource estimation techniques.
Discipline Specific Skills and Knowledge:
4 analyse and interpret data relevant for resource estimation;
5 perform resource assessment on a practical and advanced level.
Personal and Key Transferable/ Employment Skills and Knowledge:
6 work with Excel spreadsheets for data interpretation and optimisation tasks.
7 work with Excel macros to understand the principles underlying geostatistical techniques.
8 work with Isatis to gain insight into industry-standard software for resource estimation.
