BSC 1005 Biological Spring of 2018 I gained an insight into environmental
Principles problems in which our society has
created, that our world is facing
ENC 1102 Composition II Spring of 2018 This class gave me my first preview into
sports, when I had to do a research
paper on a topic of my choosing, and
selected the analysis of gender roles in
predominantly male sports/activities
GEO 3471 World Political Spring of 2018 I took this class when I was still an
Geography International and Global Studies major,
and it provided insight as to why certain
conflicts arise in different parts of the
world, and how different governments
have vastly different approaches to
solving their problems
MAC 1105C College Algebra Spring of 2018 This was the last math class that I had to
take in my program of study, and it
taught me that perseverance and hard
work pays off (in the realm of persisting
through something you do not like to
do)
MUL 2010 Enjoyment of Spring of 2018 This class gave me an avenue for
Music relaxation and reflection through
listening to classical composers first thing
in the morning
SPC 1608 Fundamentals Fall of 2017 This class introduced me to finessing my
Oral public speaking skills, and allowed for me
Communication to work on my confidence while being
the center of attention
HUM 2020 Encountering The Fall of 2017 This class opened my eyes to some of the
Humanities political movements that happened in
the 20th century, and to understand why
people have different perspectives about
the Feminist movement, segregation,
racial conflicts, etc.

Anthropology program, but it was nonetheless
interesting through conversations I had
with students in the lecture groups,
when we were all learning about
prehistoric human evolution and
language patterns

level writing, and how it differed from
high school writing expectations
