LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to ask and answer using have got.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to listen to sentences and tick or cross the boxes correctly.

1. Draw two circles on the board. Write Food in one and Drink in the other.
I. PRE-LESSON 2. In pairs, with books closed, pupils create bubble maps using known words.
3. Elicit and complete word maps on the board to check.
1. Activity 1:
 Put five flashcards face up on a desk at the front. Two pupils come to the desk. Say, e.g.
Have you got any cheese? Pupils look for the card and hold it up if they have it.
 Prompt the correct answer: Yes, we have. or No, we haven’t. Repeat with other pupils
and other food words. Then pupils take turns to ask the questions and to answer.
2. Activity 2:
 Pupils look at the picture and elicit what they can see. Play the recording. Pupils listen
and point. (CD2 Track 09) Distribute worksheets. Play the recording again. Pupils

 Distribute worksheet. Pupils look at the picture and answer the questions.

animals in our classroom?
