Tel: 37358666 PREFACE Polymer English for Intermediate students is an outcome of the authors’ hard work and life-long experience of teaching English at all levels. The contents have been arranged with a new approach to mect all types of Intermediate and Secondary Education. It has been revised and prepared according to the new syllabi introduced by the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore. A special textbook supplement has been added, which is based on the detailed study of new Book | and Book II! alongwith exercises and answers. It is hoped that the book will be widely acclaimed by both the teachers and the taught. Story and Letters writing have been specially explained and examples amply provided to train the students with a wide view of handling the subject. Special emphasis has been laid on translation from English into Urdu to acquaint the students with the language. Grammatical portions have been written and expounded in simple language and plenty of examples have been provided for the practice of the students. We hope that regular work on the exercises will help the students a lot to achieve proficiency in English.
