1. Install the calibration fixture as shown.

Connect the calibration fixture to the P6XXi as

shown. D-Sub to D-sub and other end to J16 on the
Main PCBA

2. Plug the Power cable, Usb cable, and power ON the unit.

4. Find the correct P6XXi driver, right click on it and select Properties.

5. Click on the Device Settings tab.

8. Click on the Smart Card Calibration button.

Check that the Smart Card fed correctly, wait for

approximately 1 to 5 minutes. When done, the Verify

Smart card will return to the feeder.

9. Turn the power off and remove the calibration fixture.

10. Plug the serial cable from the smart card reader box to the external smart card serial connector and
power ON the unit.

11. From your computer screen double click the shortcut to SC Test App.exe icon.

12. From the drop down arrow, select the desired P6XXi printer and click Select Printer.

13. From the drop down arrow select Ext SmartCard..

14. Verify that Ext SmartCard has been selected and select the correct Card Type to validate and click
Start.
