Scarab found in Palhais, Beja, Iron Age, probably from the New Kingdom, published in A NECRÓPOLE DA I IDADE DO FERRO DE PALHAIS
(BERINGEL, BEJA). RESULTADOS PRELIMINARES DE UMA INTERVENÇÃO DE EMERGÊNCIA NO BAIXO‐ALENTEJO, IV Encuentro de Arqueología del Suroeste Peninsular,
Huelva, (2009), pp. 746‐804.
Other scarabs were found also in Iron Age inhumations in the areas of Ourique and Odemira (Alentejo, south of Portugal), but we know not of their present accountability, they
are published by Prof. Ingrid Gamer-Wallert, 1978 in Ägyptische und ägyptisierende Funde von der Iberischen Halbinsel, Tubinger Atlas des Vorderen Orients, Beihefte, Reihe B,
21, Reichert.
