EVIDENCIA 2: WORKSHOP “PRODUCTS AND SERVICES”

1. Find the main idea of paragraph 1 and write it.

The main idea of this text of the EPSC (European Political Strategy Center) is to know

about the international competition of multinational companies or micro companies in

terms of the flexibility and agility that new, big and small companies have to become in

champions of innovation, ingenuity and skills.

Transform the aspirations and expectations of people into services and giving them

knowledge of the different tools that will be used to better manage the technology in

cars on computers at home etc.

2. Write a summary of ten lines from the text.

Most companies today operate within a heterogeneous environment and are often faced

with the challenge of sharing data and logic through various applications, databases,

operating systems and geographies. Depending on their specific industries, companies

may be needed to:

• Integrate business data between different remote offices and consolidate the financial

results of the different business units with the organization

• Meet the requirements of other companies in the supply chain for direct and automatic

exchange of data between applications

• Support for business process management, life cycle optimization methods to improve

efficiency and organizational functioning

To successfully address these challenges requires a sophisticated, but strong technology.

Attempts by IT departments to manually implement point-to-point integration projects

with system-specific solutions are often counterproductive, creating an integration

environment that is confusing, inefficient, non-scalable, and difficult to maintain.

Better business integration solutions implement automated processes using pre-built

connectors, and provide a platform independent of the future-proof interoperable

methodology with the cloud, mobile, and any other technology of the company in the

future.

In the design and implementation of integration solutions, companies need agility and

flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business, without filling work with

complex encodings, since they consume a lot of time, costs and too many resources.

Companies today continue to pursue the goal of being able to offer better products than

competitors at better prices. This purpose has been practically the same since past eras,

and the great difference today is the environment in which they move, too changeable

with intense competition. How to fulfill this goal that everyone pursues? A practical

approach is to look for planning mechanisms that allow incorporating the needs of

clients in the design or redesign of the products or services that it offers. The philosophy

of quality provides systematic processes that allow incorporating these needs in the

design, redesign, processing and production of products and services required by

customers
With the diffuse line between goods and services, international and national, online and

offline, a complete new economic paradigm is emerging, driven by three transformative

developments. Technological revolution Internet and digital communications

Europe wants to regain lost ground, and the high-end of integrated manufacturing,

services is of particular importance for future growth, sustained innovation and quality

so that consumers can establish a standard world market and as long as it is easy to use

and functional

Cars have become computers on wheels as they have engineered the use of software that

is revolutionizing the automotive industry, until recently the most traditional and

organized industries in the world

In the future, a car is likely to be a combination of mobile office and entertainment

source with a premium class car that now contains 100 microprocessors and running on

100m lines of software code

In China and Europe, it will increasingly compete in the same markets, such as clean

energy, aerospace, telecommunications equipment or broadband networks.

The global sensitivity to competitive advantages is more fluid than it should have been

to require dynamic approaches

In the apprenticeship of learning New business models with packaged offers will be

developed

- Technologies such as virtual reality have the potential

- Discovery of products and services:

- The ability to 'touch' and 'feel' products in a virtual store from your living room can

well disturb the sector by making price

Interoperability between the device and the Internet, as well as the key user's

smartphone and tablet to make these types of manufactured

attractive assets and can offer considerable and move the advantage to the pioneer

company

Small and medium-sized companies today are often in a different league than their

predecessors. Born global thanks to the internet, which gives them an instant access to

world markets, companies no longer have to follow the traditional path of slow building

a local presence and then expand the course

Traditional political tools are often obsolete in the face of market integration of products

and services.

The single market should not be seen in isolation. The emblematic initiatives of the

European Commission already underway, such as Energy Union, Capital Markets

Union and the digital single market: all add up to more than the sum of its parts.

Whenever Europe succeeds in taking a quantum leap in unlocking the potential of its

product and service markets, there are numerous opportunities to harvest.

Europe has everything in its favor in this new hyper-connected and interoperable

economy: traditional strength in manufacturing must now be urgently supplemented by

world-class services. As the European Commission ponders the future of the single

market, a more holistic and global vision

3. Choose a paragraph and translate it with your own word

Three factors combine to reshape the foundations of the modern economy.

First, the digital revolution dramatically augments the reach, flexibility and agility of

companies, big and small, creating new economic actors, such as ‘micro-

multinationals’: technology-intensive companies that are born global. Second,

international competition draws millions of new workers and consumers into what is

increasingly a ‘race to the top’, rather than a ‘race to the bottom’, with emerging

countries becoming champions of innovation, engineering ingenuity and skills

acquisition. Third, cultural and structural trends change the nature of socio-economic

interactions by transforming people’s aspirations and preferences, such as the

expectation of instant gratification offered by one-click services or the seamless

interoperability between products and electronic devices.

una carrera hasta el fondo ,con emergentes países ser campeones e innovadores ,ingenio
