status in the medical record and relevant chart and forms.
 Provides standard patient assessment and documentation as per the protocol.
 Obtains venous and capillary blood samples.
 Obtain arterial sampling only with the official approved consent procedure.

 Insert peripheral intravenous lines.
 Takes care and provides relevant observations of invasive accesses (UVC, UAC,

and side effects.
 Provides endotracheal and oro-nasal suctioning.
 Provides all intervention under sterile and clean conditions.
 Keeps the baby undisturbed as much as possible as well as keeps the baby clean
and comfortable.
 Cooperates with the parents at bedside, encourage and support them.
 Prepares the baby and family for discharge.
