Introduction

For the development of an organization it is important to be finding out the good behavior of the

employees within an organization. Behavioral assessment is revealing, relevant and powerful in

order to make better hiring decision. In this context a stable and strong communication skill is

very important in between the employees within an organization. Apart from this, the quality of

the products as well as the service provided by an organization has a greater impact on the

development of an organization. In the following report the issues faced by the small

manufacture company of gym equipment has been discussed. In order to rectify such issues this

study highlights development strategies and solution.

Findings and analysis

A small gym equipment manufacturing company in Australia is being received complaint

reputedly from the customers, suppliers and from others. Based on the case study that is provided

it can be stated that the behaviors of the employees or the workers was very bad. Apart from that

the standard of work of the administration team is too poor. It can be said that due to the poor

communicating skill of the administration team the business cannot be expanded in a large area

and also a rapid development cannot be found. It is because the administration team is major

responsible in order to take the orders by phone and written. Additionally, placing of orders as

well as sending the corresponding orders to the dispatch department is proceeding with the help

of administration team. Based on the case study it can be said that the entire process takes

approximately four to five days and it is very much problematic for the company in order to

maintain the business reputation. Various managers said that the administration team of the

manufacturing company is not achieving their goal besides they are too much careless about their

duties. For these activities of the administration team the further development of the gym

equipment business is hampered. The company cannot be able to attract a huge potential only

due to the slow activities and the carelessness of the employees of this company. Apart from that,

due to the delay of delivery customers faces so many difficulties and when they contact the

administration team their rude behavior disappoints the customers. The customers can not find

any proper reason for the delay and moreover, they find no help from the administration team of

the company. One of the most severe problems that is the main reason for the incorrect dispatch

as well as delay is typing mistake of the employees of this company. Generally, the order is

recorded by phone and the administration team of the company fails in order to record the data

so it causes incorrect dispatch. In addition to this the employees of the company does not active

in phone calls and it is observed by the staffs from the department of the company.

Recommendation

At the initial step that is in hiring step the management department of the company should have

to recruit the most efficient and experienced staffs. According to the opinion of Robles (2014), it

can be clearly stated that the oil that keeps the workplace machine running smoothly. A better

communication can be able to make a better understanding in between the employees of the

company and the customers. In this context it is believed that an active staff with better

communication skill can be able to overcome such problems that are facing the gym equipment

manufacturing company in Australia. In addition to this, in order to improve the situation of the

company the management team of the company should have to focus on the administration team

of the company. They must arrange methods through which all conversation in between the

administration team and the customers can be recorded. It will help them to identify the main

fault. After that the management team of the company must have to take necessary steps against

that employee for whom the reputation of the company is being hampered. As per the ideas of

Jackson (2015), it can be stated that it is necessary for an organization that the employees are

listening alternatively besides showing interest in everything they say. A proper training should

have to given to the administration team of the company. Additionally, the management team of

this company must arrange a weekly based test by which the learning skill of the employees will

be judged. Apart from that, a reduction process in salary should be keep by the management

team. It can be said that obviously the salary will be deducted after giving full training to the

employees of the organization. In addition to this, the employees should be properly trained

about the priority matrix. Based on the opinion of Men (2015), it can be stated that the priority

matrix helps the employees in order to decide and prioritize task by urgency. This matrix also

useful for shorting out the less urgent or important order taken from the customers. Apart from

this, a brief idea about the SMART goal should be provided to the employees within the tanning

period. According to the ideas of it can be stated that the SMART goal helps in order to push

further employees within an organization. Additionally, the SMART goal also helps the

employees in order to organize as well as reach their goal in an effective manner.

Conclusion

From the above study the importance of stable and strong communication skill of the employees

within an organization can be concluded. The development of a business is closely related to the

communication skill of the employees within an organization. In addition to this, the behavior is

also an important factor that is major responsible behind the further development of the business

of a company. The importance of the priority matrix can be concluded from the above report.

With the help of priority matrix the issues that is delay in delivery process can be reduced and

obviously with the help of responsible and effective employees. Furthermore, the importance of

SMART goal can be concluded from the above study.
