1. Filipino teachers in the International School challenge the legality of the schools practice of giving
higher pay for foreign hires than Filipinos of equal rank. Is the Practice unconstitutional?(5pts)

equal protection clause of the Constitution? (5pts)
3. During the recent elections, check points were set up to enforce the election period ban on firearms.
During one such routine search, while looking through an open window with a flashlight, the police
saw firearms at the backseat of a car, partially covered by papers and clothes. Kevin, the owner and
driver of the car in question, was charged with violation of the firearms ban.
If upon further inspection by the police, prohibited drugs were found inside the various compartments
of Kevins car, can the drugs be used in evidence against Kevin, if he is prosecuted for possession of
prohibited drugs? (5pts)
4. Mr. Abila, Mr. Alcantara and Mr. Maligaya were required to participate compulsorily by their school in
their flag ceremonies. They refused to participate citing, it was against their religion as members of
the Jehovahs Witnesses. They were charged against violation of the Flag Salute Law. Can the
school of Mr. Abila, Mr. Alcantara and Mr. Maligaya compel them to participate in the flag ceremony
of their school?(5pts)
