I would like to share my typical civic life experiences with the

nature, with the environment of my very personal life over past 30

years. The mainstream presenters would present their research,
facts & findings. So it is left on your kind hands whether you want
me to be a part of the working group.

The prelude:

As per my academic qualifications I am not a scientist nor a

researcher on environmental issues but a general citizen of a
developing country like Bangladesh.
I born & brought up in a remote village of my country , we observed
very closely the changing phase of our typical civic life. How our
surrounds of environment changes within a short span of time, how
we are losing the natural aromas from our familiar ecosystems of
rural life. Our children are deprived from the originality of their
daily eatables, their surrounding natures even the flowers are losing
their natural fragrances.

The nature is the biggest punisher, we are losing

oxygen from fresh air and CO2 is taking lead on our
known climate. Our ozone level is becoming corrupted
due to green house gas effect.

In respect of Bangladesh, the seasons has been divided into six-

Summer, Rainy season, early autumn, late autumn, winter & spring.
Now we are enjoying only 3 seasons Hot Summer, Over Rained-Rainy
seasons & Un-predictable winter season.
Due to extreme change ozone level, the versatility of the nature has
become barred, ecosystems of our surroundings is reducing day by
day. Our forests are becoming cozy tiny, our rivers, streams,
estuaries are drying and going to be desert.
• Due to un-planned infrastructures and road to globalization,
financial greediness of urban-based life is becoming pretty
thin-box. The urban dwellers run to the villages to find fresh
air. Most of the big cities of the Bangladesh have become over
populated & extreme polluted. Un-planned buildings &
constructions are responsible for losing fresh air from the
cities, leads & carbon dioxides levels are polluting our city life.
People are suffering from dangerous diseases i.e lungs
diseas, cancer, diabetic and TB. These types of diseases are
increasing epidemically in third world countries like
Bangladesh.

Conclusion comes with sharing of some sensible feelings:

When I recall my Childhood a 30 years back to my rural life, I find

out a dissimilarity which has been harmonized with the nature of
present life. How the nature loses it’s aromatic equilibrium from
each and every aspects our very known environment. Things has
been change like-

Bangladesh as the developing economy has many constraints to over

come & has several issues to pass it, while we think environment. We
come across several environmental issues- green house effects
resulted pollutions, climate changes, even changes of a typical
citizen’s daily life.
CO2 now a factual threat for the environment, more carbon-dioxide
means lesser oxygen available to inhale good air.
We have observed many world-wide seminars, conferences & road
shows raising hands against global warming, GHG effects which
already vulnerable to a happy life, happy environment & sound
economic movement around the globe.
While talking about a developing country like Bangladesh- we must
focus on the ultimate environmental disasters & vulnerability of
having any huge natural incident i.e a huge tremor, land sliding.

As a general citizen of a small poor country and limitations of

scientific knowledge to present with facts & figures of GH effects,
global warming might be an out-spoken for me.

But as a physically fit & sensible person, I can feel huge changes
have been occurred in 35 years span of my life, I have been
experiencing the aromatic disorder (reduction of fragrances from
nature)-This might have happened due to increasing rate of HO2
with fresh air. Few examples might clear the topic-
A) Before 30 years in every villages of Bangladesh- we used to
observe vivid colors of flowers with different fragrances, the
vegetable had their own fragrances during October-March.
The aromatic beans flowers lost their original colors &
fragrances in present days, due to changes in oxygen level.
B) During February & march- The silk cotton flowers bloomed
like fire in the background of a village, we used to be horrified
with the sounds of bursting Silk cotton flowers beans. The
sound seems like firing by guns. Blooming of mangoes &
seasonal fruits used come with their original aromatic flavor,
now a days due to usages of different fertilizers

C) Master Oil flowers losses their original sensual fragrances

D) Spring always came with a different sort of sensation of her

own fragrances, colors & chaos of birds, due to global warming the
climate has been molded drastically from it’s originality. We are
almost to lose the real eco-systems from our known surrounds
environments.
I sometimes, invite others to visit the life rural people, the real
forest, the aboriginal’s life, the river & stream where the real
ecosystems take places. Recently I wrote to a television-media to
discover the undiscovered place which is highlighted below for your
kind considerations-

Dear Sir/Madam,

Good Day!

I am a regular audience of Channel i programs basically I prefer to watch

informative & research able programs for our local Bangladesh i.e Mati o
manush, Prokriti O Jibon.
I would like to suggest a place which have been undiscovered & none has
been focused this area. This is one of the natural beauty & thin estuary or
stream, the real ecosystem lies in these areas, locality mixed up with
Bangladeshi & hill tact aboriginal are dwelling in this areas. How to reach this
area-
From Chittagong city to the highway of Fatickchari-Khagrachari road, you
have take a turn from Nazirhat to the east Maizbhandar-Nanupur-turn to
east-the road which is called Khiram (The local people certainly help to reach
the destination) & then Dali Munshir hat the final destination is yet to
discover that is called Bormachari.

When I recall my teenage years I still feel the wonderful place of

Bormachari, where you can find all small Canals, hill borned streams, deep
Forrest, different kinds of wild Animals like Monkey, Deears, Wild
dogs,Hyena, and many un-named birds.
Finally, I would add that no govt or non-govt organisations eyed on these
deprived areas.

I can assure you to discover a very sensational and real nature in this area of
Chittagong.

Hope you would be interested to focus some areas of northern parts of

Chittagong which have not been exposed by any media.

Kind Regards,

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your prompt reply, it gives me immense delight that I could
share a little experience of my life-time. I always have been felt harmonize
with natures, I may not be a person of romantic rather I have become a
realistic, so which turned me to leave my beloved mother-land to earn my
every day's salt. If I could ensure a sound economic life to lead, I never
been left my mother land. In most precious parts of my life I spent out side
the country. Where ever I visited(i.e India for study,Nepal for traveling,
Iran and Middle eastern countries for personal needs) I always tried to
enjoy the natures, people's life even life of creatures of God(animal & bird
sanctuaries).

At present I am living in UAE and working for a multinational financial

company, life might have changed & living with a good financial solvency. But
the thirstiness I have for discovering the unknown world of nature, the real
eco-systems of life that may not come back. My only companion is books( I
like to read like anything).
In future, I aim to discuss about more events which I believe, you will find
such interesting.
Channel i always gives me a huge information which I really eager to grasp.

Sorry to take your valuable time - this is a sort of personal statement.

Please don't take it other-wise.

Kind Regards,
ZAHED HOSSAIN
