2.1 Project Summary
2.1.1 Objectives
Video banking is a used for performing banking transactions or professional banking
consultations via a remote video connection. Video banking can be performed via
purpose banking app, or via a videoconference enabled bank branch.

 Deliver an Video banking App on Android and Apple devices as well as through an
application on the laptop/Desktop.
 Support Video banking services like Process new account, new loan, consultation with
Relationship manager.
 Allow video connection between client and bank staff after customer authentication.
 Schedule a video call/ appointment booking for video call between client and Bank staff

2.1.2 Background

Timely and accurate synchronization of widget names will reduce development levels of efforts across
the enterprise by eliminating duplicate names of widgets in development and deployed. Acme
uncovered seriously high levels of errors across testing environments, production error messages, and
increased rework due to lack of knowledge about widgets already in production.

2.1.3 Business Drivers

 Customers are looking to connect with their Financial Advisor or Branch Manager remotely
without visiting branch.
 Video banking allows Bank achieve its goal to be universal banker .
 Will add an new channel of sales for bank as bank staff will be able to upsell banking product
to client through video banking.

2.2 Project Scope

2.2.1 In Scope Functionality


In conjunction with transaction hardware video banking can include all of the following types of
services.

 Bill Payments
 Account inquiries
 Process New Accounts
 Process New Loans
 Consult with banking professionals
 Process New Accounts
 Complain handling
 Inquire about banking services
 Ability to authenticate client by password and OTP.
 Customer can simply connect to the bank through an App on Android and Apple
devices as well as through an application on the laptop/Desktop.
 Schedule a video call/ appointment booking for video call between client and financial
advisor or branch manager.
 Direct video call with contact centre staff and do transactions done through phone banking
and additional services.

2.2.2 Out of Scope Functionality


 Video banking app will not replace existing mobile app.
 Self service transaction processing.
 Direct connect video call with Financial advisor or Branch manager.

2.3 System Perspective

Previously approved Q2/Q3 development projects may limit availability of development and QA
resources, necessitating outsourcing or additional budget requisitions to meet the
anticipated timeline.
