Interactive Link Data Pump Applications
(IL-DPA) are modules that allow clients
to transfer data in one direction between
networks connected by the Interactive
Link Data Diode (IL-DD).
The IL-DD provides the one-way
connection between two networks, with
hardware-enforced prevention of reverse
data flow.
The Data Pump Applications act as a
proxy allowing connected applications to
seamlessly send data across the Data
Diode. Data Pump Applications exist for
both the GB and 100MB variants of the
Data Diode.
Clipboard File Transfer Application
The Interactive Link Clipboard File
Transfer (IL-CFT) application has been
developed for client computers running
the Microsoft Windows 2000/XP and
Terminal Server operating systems.
IL-CFT application provides a cut and
paste utility to transfer clipboard data
from the general network to clipboard
users on the secure network.

File Transfer Application
The Interactive Link File Transfer
Application (IL-FTA) is used for the
automatic bulk transfer of files from the
general network to the secure network.
The IL-FTA transports individual files,
subdirectories, directories or entire
directory trees from the general network
to the secure network. Source and
destination files may be stored locally
on the IL-DD server or made available
remotely via the Microsoft Windows
standard SMB file sharing protocol, the
UNIX standard Network File System, or
File Transfer Protocol.

Data Forwarding Application
The Interactive Link Data Forwarding
Application (IL-DFA) allows secure
network hosts to have a virtual presence
on the general network. Each identified
destination-side host’s IP address is
emulated on the general network.
A selected range of network ports are
monitored for incoming network
connections or datagrams. Data received
is forwarded immediately to the intended
host on the secure network. This Data
Pump Application is ideally suited for
streaming information from the general
network to the secure network.
Email Transfer Application
The Interactive Link Email Transfer
Application (IL-ETA) is used to transfer
electronic mail from the general network
to the secure network. IL-ETA utilises the
industry standard Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) so it easily integrates
with most existing electronic mail
systems, including Sendmail, Microsoft
Exchange and Lotus Notes.
High Availability Library
The Interactive Link High Availability
Library (IL-HAL) provides a fully
automated failover capability specifically
for critical mission systems. Utilising a
cluster solution and multicasting, the
IL-HAL is capable of working with the
100Mb and Gigabit Data Diode variants.
This library is ideally suited for ensuring
mission critical data streaming from the
general network has a guaranteed cross
domain path to the secure network.
