 Role: Electrical Engineer - High Voltage Specialist

Location: Bangalore

Role & Responsibility:

✓ The individual will be located in the High Voltage Unit/ Electrical Discipline of EGP, carrying out specialized activities during the analysis phase of the
project, defining generators and loads, sizing electrical equipment's, conceptual design, feasibility studies, basic and detailed design of electrical
systems in production facilities of renewable sources using different technologies like (Wind, Solar, Hydro, Geothermal, Hybrid, Storage).
✓ Will have to follow the definition and implementation of various phases of the projects, also coordinating and controlling internal and/or external
specialist engineering resources.
✓ Should provide the necessary support on all matters of engineering, ensuring respect of the project objectives.
✓ Regard to the electrical design, the activity will focus on High Voltage Lines, MV\HV Substations, HV-MV Electrical Systems for Renewable Energy and
Interconnection Substations for the connection with TSO\DSO National Transmission and Distribution System Operators.
✓ The candidate must also carry out activities in the field of preparation of Technical Specifications of electric power equipment's, specifications of
electrical systems such as security systems, protection and control systems of electrical substations and main electrical machinery, documentation
for tenders.

Candidate profile:
✓ Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering.
✓ Experience in the design and planning of electrical systems of high and medium voltage. Preferred candidates with engineering, substations and
power lines, power generation groups experience.
✓ Ability to design and manage architectures of electrical HV-MV systems of renewable plants for the interconnection to the electricity networks of

Role & Responsibility:

✓ Responsible for developing and drawing single line diagrams and load lists using Autocad software .
✓ Size and select electrical equipment such as Overhead Transmission lines up through 500kV , reactive compensation equipment, Main Power
Transformers, HV circuit breakers, MV GIS switchgear, batteries, chargers and DC distribution systems; padmount transformers, ground reference
transformers, panel boards, etc.
✓ Review equipment layout and design meeting relevant to NEC,IEEE, ANSI, IEC and other applicable industry standards.
✓ Prepare Technical Specifications for design contractors and consultants. Manage and supervise third party engineers or external design services and
communicate timely with third parties to ensure design requirements are understood and fulfilled through delivery.

✓ HSE international accreditation
✓ NEBOSH Accreditation is considered a plus
✓ Experience with international company is considered a plus
