The Tuara are the toughest and longest living

AEREN members of the Aeren, their thick shells protect


them from danger, the Tuara’s role is twofold,
one side being sturdy frontline fighters that
protect their clan members, while the older and
wiser become honored elders in the clan
passing down the traditions and knowledge of
the past to the new generations.

Each Aeren has a place in their clan, believing


that being without cause is a waste of life.

The Aeren have waged wars between the clans


as long as anyone can remember, fighting for
territory and resources, though with the
passage of time, they have forged allegiance,
despite this most Aeren love a good fight, with
conflicts still occurring between the clans.

The Aeren are a species of reptilian humanoids


that have been around since the creation of the
world and the original inhabitants of Zephyr.

Broken into four separate types based on their


original roles in their clans and the abilities they
possess:

The Repta are the warriors of the Aeren, with


formidable strength and ferocity their razor-
sharp claws ripping through their enemies,
though they are generally less intelligent than
the other Aeren types, preferring to fight rather
than think

AEREN ABILITY RULES:
This has all the rules of the various abilities and skills the Aeren have as stated on the profiles.

Tough Scales:
Type: [Passive]
A skill shared by all Aeren, these scales protect the Aeren from harm granting them [Armor 1]

Cold Blooded:
Type: [Passive]
A skill shared by all Aeren, being cold blooded, makes them best suited for warm climates, ignoring the
effects of extreme heat, however they suffer when being in cold climates losing two ranks of Agility
[AGI -2] when in particularly cold environments.

Razor Claws:
Type: [Passive]
A skill known by the Aeren Repta, being imbued with razors-sharp claws that tear through enemies
causing them to bleed heavily from the wound and increases their normal unarmed attacks
[Increase unarmed melee attack damage by one rank]

Camouflage:
Type: [Skill]
A skill known by the Aeren Chamea, they can adapt their bodies to match the colors of their
surroundings, hiding them from sight, this however does take time and concentration to complete.
The user requires at least [Time 1] to complete and must make a 3+ Will Check, getting attacked or
taking damage during this time interrupts this ability and cancels its effects, see [Hidden] for the effects
of this skill

Prehensile Tongue:
Type: [Passive]
A skill known by the Aeren Chamea, they Chamea can freely control their tongue as if it was a normal
limb, being able to hold items as if it was a hand, however its strength is the user’s [STR -2], the tongue
can also extend up to [RNG 2] from the user and has a sticky surface which can grab and pull objects.

Venomous Fangs:
Type: [Passive]
A skill known by the Aeren Squamata, these Aeren hold a dangerous venom in their fangs, when biting
their targets, it causes them to become poisoned
Bites causes [Poison 1]
[Numbing Venom] – The venom in the Squamata’s fangs numb the target’s nerve system, causing them
to slowly lose control of their limbs until they can no longer move
Sticky Pad:
Type: [Passive]
The user has sticky pads on their hands and feet, making it able for them to stick to walls and other
objects, the user must make a {P}[Agility] VS {T][Challenge] check to remain stuck to the wall every time
they attempt to move on the wall or they are hit by an attack.

The user’s can only move ½ speed when moving this way and suffer a -2 penalty to all attack or hit rolls
while stuck on the object

Protective Carapace:
Type: [Passive]
A skill known by the Aeren Tuara, these shells protect the Tuara from damage from all sides, but makes
them particularly slow and heavy
