Silver Bay Seafoods Names Cora Campbell President & CEO

Sitka, Alaska – January 2, 2019 -- Silver Bay Seafoods, LLC (Silver Bay), a vertically integrated, and primarily
fishermen owned seafood processing company that has been headquartered in Sitka, Alaska, announced that Cora
Campbell is assuming the role of President and CEO of Silver Bay Seafoods, effective January 1, 2019.

Richard Riggs, Silver Bay’s CEO since inception in 2007, and Troy Denkinger, the company’s Co-Founder and
President since 2012, will both continue to be actively engaged with the company in the capacity of Managing
Partners. Riggs will continue to oversee all sales and related activities, and Denkinger will continue to focus on the
overall fishermen experience throughout the organization. Both Denkinger and Riggs will likewise maintain their
respective Silver Bay Board of Directors responsibilities within the company, including a focus on strategic
direction, vision and growth, with Denkinger being the Chairman of the Board.

“This internal promotion/transition is yet another strategic growth initiative for Silver Bay. Cora has a proven track
record, both as an Alaskan fisherman and seafood executive, and under her leadership Silver Bay will continue to
promote the values of the company in the quest to build a world class seafood company,” said outgoing CEO,
Richard Riggs. “Furthermore, it has been an honor to be the CEO of Silver Bay Seafoods for the last 12 years; to
build a company and culture that started as a passionate, but un-realized dream of Alaska fishermen; and initially do
so in my home town – a place I refer to as ‘Paradise’ (aka Sitka, Alaska); and finally to play an active role in what
Silver Bay has become today, with six facilities in Alaska and operations in California as well, with over 450
fishermen owners”.

“Cora is the right person to lead Silver Bay into our next chapter, as Richard and I take on more focused roles,” said
Troy Denkinger. “Silver Bay has always prioritized finding the best team to serve our fishermen, and Cora’s skills
and experience in fisheries management, policy, and business make her uniquely qualified to lead our company.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to lead the Silver Bay team,” said Campbell. “Silver Bay is unique among
processors. We are owned by our fishermen and committed to maximizing value and fishing opportunity. We have
an excellent team in place and I’m pleased to be part of the Silver Bay success story.”

Cora joined Silver Bay’s management team in 2018 as the company’s Chief External Affairs Officer. Campbell is
the past President and CEO of Siu Alaska Corporation, a commercial fishing and processing company with
investments in the pollock, cod, and crab fisheries of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands. Previously, Campbell was
Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, serving as Alaska’s chief executive for fisheries and
wildlife management and policy. She has served as a policy advisor to two Alaska governors on fisheries, wildlife,
climate change, natural resources, marketing, and Arctic development. Campbell has served on numerous boards
and committees including United Fisherman of Alaska, the North Pacific Fisheries Management Council, the Alaska
Seafood Marketing Institute, and the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council. She is originally from Petersburg,
where she spent 22 summers fishing commercially with her family.
