Notes
1. All piping shall be galvanized. Pipe spools requiring welding shall be galvanized after welding. Spool shall be of such shape and dimension as
to suit capacity of the galvanizing shop as well as easiness of thorough cleaning inside spool before galvanizing.
2. Exposed threads of assembled piping to be coated with zinc primer or epoxy after installation.
3. Flanged galvanized spool pieces to be used to minimize welding at site.
4. Hot dip galvanized according to A 153.
5. All low alloyed steel stud bolts, nuts and washers shall be hot dip galvanized according to A 153.
6. Temperature limit for ball valves shall be 121°C . For higher temperature use special ball valves.
7. For testing of piping assemblies, air may be used at 110% of design pressure.
8. Two jackscrew, 180 degree apart shall be provided in one of the flanges for all orifice flange and specified spectacle blind assemblies.
